The member benefit

A referral program, ready to hand to your members

Free to join. Nothing to install. Members refer — we do everything else.

They get a dashboard

A tracked referral link, a QR code, and a one-click referral email.

They refer a customer

Share the link or send the email. That's the whole job.

They get paid

$100 per completed appraisal, by ACH, every month.

For your members to use with customers

Two services members can offer after any accident

Car repaired Diminished value

A third-party claim against the at-fault driver's insurer for the resale value the accident cost the owner.

Car totaled Total loss value

A real market value the owner uses to dispute a low total loss offer.

This has nothing to do with the quality of the repair. Even on flawless work with OEM parts, the accident stays on the vehicle history report and buyers pay less. That market stigma is the loss — and our appraisal states in writing that the vehicle was properly repaired.

Why associations sign on

Revenue without an agenda item

No cost, no exclusivity, no minimum volume. One paragraph in the member email starts it.

  • Non-dues revenue that scales with participation.
  • A benefit members actually use — a payment, not a discount code.
  • No admin for your staff. One statement; we handle the rest.
  • Co-branded materials ready to send.

Where the money goes

Two ways to structure the fee

Same fee either way. Only the recipient changes.

Model AStraight to the shop 100% shop

The member keeps the full fee. The association carries no accounting.

Model B · Most commonSplit with the association 70% shop · 30% association

The shop keeps the majority; an agreed share funds training, the conference, or the scholarship fund.

Questions the board will ask

FAQ

What does it cost the association?

Nothing. No enrollment fee, no software, no minimum volume.

Who pays for the appraisal?

The vehicle owner. The shop never fronts a cost, and the estimate is free.

How much work is it for shop staff?

Share a link or send one email from the dashboard. Every conversation after that is ours.

Does this suggest the repair was bad?

No. The loss comes from the accident being on the vehicle history report, not from the workmanship — and the appraisal says so. The shop is never a party to the claim, and it can stay unnamed: SnapClaim can send the referral instead.

Does this conflict with our members' insurer relationships?

The claim belongs to the vehicle owner and it's their decision. We'd still recommend your counsel review the agreement against your state's referral and anti-steering rules.

How are payouts made?

Monthly by ACH, with one statement showing activity by shop.

Can we pilot it first?

Yes — ten shops, one quarter, then take the numbers to the board.
